Chicago Weather: Scattered Rain And Snow Overnight, Strong Winds For Friday Morning Rush
CHICAGO (CBS) -- After a high temperature in the lower 50s (the normal high is 42), we had wind chills Thursday night dropping into the 20s in some places.
Strong west and northwest winds are increasing behind the frontal passage. Scattered rain or snow showers are possible until about 3 a.m.
It will be very windy for the Friday morning rush.
There is a Wind Advisory until 9 a.m. for Chicago and until noon for Northwest Indiana.
Due to the wind flow, dangerous waves will threaten the Northwest Indiana shores all day.
Our winds turn around and become southerly on Saturday, pulling in mild air for the weekend.
