Man found shot to death on side on Chicago's South Side
A man was found shot to death in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on Friday night.
Chicago police responded to a call for a person shot in the 100 block of East 71st Street and found a 49-year-old man unresponsive with gunshot wounds on the sidewalk.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not released.
Police said the victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Area One Detectives are investigating.
