Chesterton Man Aims To Swim Across Lake Michigan--And Back
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 51-year-old Chesterton man will try to set a world record by swimming about 120 miles from Navy Pier to Michigan and back.

"I want it real bad," says Scott Weston Wolford. "I think it's going to be more mental because it's going to take 60 to 70 hours."
He won't be wearing a wet suit, which would provide warmth and bounacy.
He'll be escorted by a support boat, but cannot be touched by anyone aboard the vessel or even hold on to the boat at any point during the duration of the swim.
He plans to begin his swim on Aug. 19.
