Burglars take ATM in crash-and-grab at gas station in Chicago's Avondale neighborhood
Burglars stole an ATM in a crash-and-grab incident at a gas station in Chicago's Avondale neighborhood early Wednesday.
At 6:20 a.m., a Honda sport-utility vehicle struck the front of the minimart at the Shell station at 3181 N. Milwaukee Ave., at Belmont Avenue, police said.
The burglar or burglars then entered and stole an ATM, and fled in a different vehicle, police said.
No one was injured in the incident.
