Brookfield Zoo warning guests of social media scam involving cheap ticket prices
BROOKFIELD, Ill. (CBS) -- Brookfield Zoo is warning visitors about a scam advertised on social media.
The ad claimed to sell four zoo tickets for $6.95 for their 90th anniversary.
The zoo says the offer and website link are not affiliated and can be reported to Facebook or Instagram when you see them.
Visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets directly from the zoo's website or at the gate.
