Boy, 17, Critically Wounded In North Lawndale Shooting
(STMW) -- A teenage boy was critically wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
The 17-year-old was shot in the left arm and right leg in the 1500 block of South Ridgeway at 2:25 p.m., police said.
He was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital.
Details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
