Body recovered from Chicago River in Pilsen

A body was recovered from the Chicago River in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood on Friday morning. 

Chicago police said the body of a man, between 40 and 50 years old, was pulled from the water in the 2400 block of South Halsted Avenue by the Marine Unit. 

The body has not been identified. 

No further details were provided. 

Area detectives are investigating.
