Bickel and Skille deals for Blackhawks wrapping up
Although Stan Bowman is still trying to negotiate a deal for Antti Niemi before the arbitration hearing Thursday, he did manage to secure deals for wingers Bryan Bickell and Jack Skille. The official announcement could come as early as Monday. The Blackhawks were able to negotiate a one-year contract at $600,000 for Skille. The details for Bickel's contract are rumored to be for three years and worth $1.6 million.
Stan Bowman is also trying to work out a deal to re-sign unrestricted free agent Jordan Hendry, but nothing has been agreed upon yet.
