Bears sign Wright to four-year contract

For the fifth year in a row, the Bears have all of their draft picks signed and are the first team in league history to sign all of their draft picks before the end of May. This came with the four-year deal to Major Wright just made Friday. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, however.
Major Wright was the Bears first choice in the 2010 draft during the third round. Wright had 33 career starts at free safety after appearing in all 41 games during the three years he was with the Florida Gators. Standing 5-11 and 206lbs, Wright finished his college career with 165 tackles, 10 PBUs, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He also added eight INTs and returned them for 69 yards including one touchdown, a blocked field goal recovery and was a part of the Gators' national championship team during his sophomore year.
