Bears Sign DE Jamil Merrell To A Reserve/Future Contract

(CBS) The Bears have signed defensive end Jamil Merrell to a reserve/future contract, they announced Tuesday afternoon.

Merrell is an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers who has spent time with the Bears previously on the practice squad.

On Monday night, the Bears also signed guard Conor Boffeli, linebacker Jonathan Brown, receiver Rashad Lawrence, tight end Jacob Maxwell and tackle Jason Weaver to reserve/future contracts.
