Bears loss includes injuries
The Bears lost more than just the pre-season opener in San Diego. A Number of their players suffered injuries as well. Caleb Hanie suffered a shoulder injury and Craig Steltz suffered an ankle injury mid-way through the first quarter for starters.
The second quarter sent Patrick Mannelly off the field with a shoulder injury. And backup middle linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer was out before halftime. Just before halftime, Major Wright suffered a finger injury and was out of the game.
