ATF agent opens fire in Walmart parking lot in Pullman, agency confirms
An ATF agent opened fire during an operation in a Walmart parking lot on Chicago's South Side Thursday morning, the agency confirmed.
The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said one of their agents was part of an operation at 109th Street and S. Doty Avenue in the city's Pullman neighborhood when they opened fire on a suspect in an attempted robbery. The address of the incident shows the operation was in a Walmart parking lot.
The ATF said no officers or civilians were injured by the gunfire. Three suspects were taken into custody and charges are pending, the ATF said.
