Anybody Have Any Tickets?

The bigger the event always the tougher the ticket. The Blackhawks are finding that out first hand. They, of course, will be on the ice when the games start Saturday night but the players are hearing from just about everybody who are looking to get into the building that night.
Adam Burish says he heard from an old college girlfriend who he hasn't spoken to in years. He turned her down, at least with any tickets, but Burish wasn't the only one who has been hearing from old girl friends, second cousins or his neighbor's plumber. Patrick Sharp is getting calls from old friends in Philadelphia and those requests are for tickets in both cities. And even Joel Quenville said the demand is more then the supply and will have to make some tough choices.
The players were in calm moods three days before game 1 but they said the nervousness and anticipation is starting to build. Jonathan Towes said he is trying to keep his mind off hockey when he's away from the rink. You might have noticed that Towes and a few of his teammates were at the Cubs game Tuesday night. Actually it was hard not to notice since the TV cameras panned to them throughout the game.
And the update on Andrew Ladd is no update at all. Quenville insists that the Hawk's right winger remains day to day with an upper body injury but also says he expects him to appear in the series.
