8 Injured In South Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - Eight people were injured in a traffic crash on the South Side early Sunday.
An EMS Plan I response, which sends at least five ambulances to the scene, was called just after 12 a.m. for the crash at 50th Street and King Drive.
Eight people were taken to hospitals, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Joe Roccasalva.
Two people, in serious to critical condition, were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, he said.
Six people were taken to hospitals in fair to good condition, Roccasalva said. Four were taken to the University of Chicago Hospitals and two were taken to Mercy Hospital.
The EMS Plan was secured by about 12:30 a.m.
