3 Hurt In Crash With Fire Truck

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two firefighters and a civilian were hurt early Saturday when a car crashed into a fire truck on the South Side.

The crash happened at 12:54 a.m. near South Lafayette Avenue and West 71st Street, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Rich Rosado said.

A civilian was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious-to-critical condition, Rosado said. Two firefighters were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park with minor injuries.

Police did not immediately have information on the crash.
