1 person shot on Chicago-area expressway
CHICAGO (CBS) — A person was shot while driving on I-94 near Irving Park Road.
Illinois State Police confirmed around 1:30 a.m., shots were fired, hitting a vehicle near the I-90 split overnight. Police said a victim suffered a graze wound after reporting hearing "several loud bangs."
All lanes reopened around 5 a.m.
Police are investigating.
No arrests have been made.
