NightSide - Bridgewater State University Geography Professors Vernon Domingo and James Hayes-Bohanan
BOSTON (CBS) - With test scores driving much of the funding that schools are awarded, many districts have seen their curriculum evolve to better fit the assessment tests. But this has led to some subjects, such as geography, taking a back seat. Bridgewater State University Geography Professors Vernon Domingo and James Hayes-Bohanan sit down with Dan to talk about the importance of geography in today's shrinking world, and why they think it's a school subject worth saving. What do you think? Has geography gone missing from our schools?
