The most American month of the year is finally upon us: July. Not only do we get to celebrate the founding of the country by eating too many hotdogs and drinking too many drinks, but in July we also get to celebrate International Kissing Day, and free Slurpee Day. Seriously, can you think of a more American month than that? Didn't think so.
So anyway, in order to make your country proud (or ashamed), we suggest you celebrate all things 'Murica at the newest and most creative place to hit Boston in quite a long time: Committee.
Committee is a Mediterranean-inspired, small plate restaurant that comes from the fantastic owners of Cafeteria and Bijou, so you know it's going to be good. Besides some salacious small plates, they also feature a huge cocktail list, and a motto that states "Where predictable is prohibited", making it the absolute perfect spot for you to get down and clown around.
More: Hit The Townshend
When you get there skip the shenanigans and head straight to the bar to start your night, and your July celebrations, off on the right foot with one of the amazing cocktails like the Cuban Affair. This drink has so much flavor it'll feel like a firework went off in your mouth (in a good way we swear), which makes it the perfect way to kick off good ole Independence Day. After guzzling a few of those for the fourth, you should probably mosey on out to the Tiki bar and slurp some of those drinks down in honor of Slurpee day- slurping cocktails counts, right? By then you'll probably be nice and toasted, so you might as well go talk to that gorgeous blonde by the bar and pucker up for International Kissing Day. Hey, being predictable is banned here after all. See? We told you it's the perfect place for everything 'Murica.
So go ahead- slurp down some cocktails, shove some small plates in your face and do the whole month of July right at Committee.
