Grandmother Dies After Hit-And-Run Accident In Norwood
BOSTON (CBS) - A Needham grandmother who was run down by a hit-and-run driver has died.

Someone struck 70-year-old Ellie Jacobs on Route 1A in Norwood earlier this month. Witnesses say the driver sped off, never even slowing down.
Jacobs had serious injuries and passed away Wednesday night.
Her son is devastated and is pleading for the driver to come clean.
"Please, please, please if you did this, come forward," says Jonathan Jacobs. "I cant imagine you feel good about yourself right now, I can't imagine you're in a good place, you're probably in a very dark place. You're scared, you know you did this, come forward."
Police don't have many clues, and there was little evidence left at the scene.
