Crowned 'Miss America' Calls Tom Brady A Cheater
BOSTON (CBS) -- We now know what side of DeflateGate the newly crowned Miss America stands.
When asked by the judges during Sunday night's pageant whether Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady cheated, Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell initially responded, "I'm not sure."
She said she had to have been there and felt the ball herself to "make sure it was deflated or not deflated."
Then, she said: "If there was question there, then yes, I think he cheated. If there was any question to be had, I think that he definitely cheated and that he should've been suspended for that because that's not fair."
Her answer was met with what sounded like a mixed response from the crowd.
Later that evening, Cantrell was crowned Miss America.
