Boston's 'Be Like Sebastian' Meme Illustrates Space Saver Etiquette
BOSTON (CBS) -- The city of Boston is using a popular Facebook meme to preach good manners when it comes to space savers.
Variations of the "Be like Bill" meme have been popping up on Facebook news feeds around the world. The original "Be like Bill" page has more than 1.5 million likes and uses a stick figure named Bill to call out bad Internet behavior.
Following the East Coast Blizzard that dropped a few inches of snow in Boston over the weekend, the city has posted its own version of "Be like Bill' to remind residents that since a snow emergency wasn't declared, any object used to save a shoveled-out parking space will be removed with the trash.
"Sebastian goes away 48 hours after a snow emergency is over," part of the cartoon reads. "Be like Sebastian."
