Day 16: Obama Expands Children's Health Care, Limits Executive Pay
4774879On his sixteenth day in office, President Obama signed legislation expanding the SCHIP health insurance program to 4 million children.
He imposed a $500,000 pay cap on some senior executives whose firms receive government financial rescue money.
And he continued to fight for his stimulus package, arguing that "a failure to act, and act now, will turn crisis into a catastrophe."
