Hi Everyone!

Today, we finished our month-long "Wellness Wednesday" series at Drip IV Hydration and Med Spa in Owings Mills.

IV Therapy is a big deal in places like Florida and California, but it is now making its way into every state.

The concept is simple. Start with an IV bag of regular saline solution, seen here held by registered nurse Nicole Cortes. (Yes medical professionals handle the making of each treatment.)

Then, just like baking a cake, different vitamins and minerals are added, (per a specific recipe), to make an IV treatment specifically designed for a certain purpose.

Then, in a very comfortable setting, the IV is inserted and you get a direct dose to cure what ails ya!

The menu is very specific, and at "Drip" hundreds of appointments a month are not uncommon, and that does not count walk-ins. Look at the menu, and for an example, I have taken a close-up of the "anti-aging" solution. It is for deep skin care.

Where's Marty? Getting the "Athlete" IV treatment at Drip Med Spa 03:13

Today, I chose, because I do a lot of gym and cardio work, the solution designed for recovery after a big workout.

It is called, "The Athlete."

I did a small bag because of my time constraints, though the larger dosage may be for you.

The IV insertion used a small in-diameter catheter, and I didn't even feel "the pinch." Thirty minutes later, the bag is empty and done.

As I mentioned, this treatment is getting legs in the world of alternate therapy.

As I write this, about five hours later, I can definitely feel a difference.

I am quite alert mentally and physically.  (And wouldn't you know it, today is NOT a gym, or cardio, day for me.

But tomorrow is, and with a heavy session of upper body work, and cardio, I can't wait to feel what I expect to feel after that.)

To read if this is right for you, here is the website for Drip IV Hydration and Med Spa.

And DO note, they provide more services than just the IV! https://dripmedspa.com/ (And we want to also thank the manager Charleigh Wren also in the selfie and who appears in the program! Good folks!)
