What the FFL?!
Having covered sports for 25 years, I feel like I've pretty much seen it all. Clearly I haven't. I recently found out about an Italian game called Fight Football. It is what it says it is: guys playing a version of football (or soccer) and fighting. They have a league, aptly named Fight Football League. It's amazing. It's bizarre. It's rooted in a military training exercise from the ancient days of the Roman Empire. I can honestly say, I've never seen it before.
