Week 9 NFL Predictions
Well I seem to be on a hot streak. After two 9-5 weeks, in week 8 I went 11-2, bringing my season total to 72-45. So its safe to say the last few weeks have been very good for me, however this week I feel will be the most troublesome for me. It seems there are to many games that could go either way, but let me take a stab at it.
Buccaneers (5-2) vs. Falcons (5-2) --The Bucs keep surprising people as they are tied with Atlanta for first in the NFC South. Many of the experts feel that the Falcons are the best the NFC has to offer. Tampa has struggled against good teams, they will again. PREDICTION---FALCONS
Bears (4-3) vs. Bills (0-7) --If you have been following my picks you can tell im not a believer in the Chicago Bears, especially if Cutler is their QB. Buffalo is 0-7 but their last two games have gone into overtime against teams with winning records. They wont need overtime this week, yea im picking an 0-7 team. PREDICTION---BILLS
Patriots (6-1) vs. Browns (2-5) --New England is sporting the league's best record entering Week 9 and does it surprise anyone. Our last remembrance of Cleveland was rolling over the defending champs. This game will be closer than expected but New England should win. PREDICTION---PATRIOTS
Jets (5-2) vs. Lions (2-5) --New York laid a huge egg last week coming off a bye they became the first team this year to be shutout, and at home no less. Look the Lions are a much better team with Stafford at the helm. This game also has the most interesting matchup of the week, Calvin Johnson vs. Darrelle Revis it should be another close game. PREDICTION---JETS
Cardinals (3-4) vs. Vikings (2-5) --The talk in Minnesota has been about everything but the upcoming game against Arizona. Favre got hurt again, Moss is now a Titan, im sure the Vikings players are happy there is a game to take their minds off everything else. Arizona is terrible this should not be a close game. PREDICTION---VIKINGS
Saints (5-3) vs. Panthers (1-6) --New Orleans rebounded nicely from the Cleveland loss by beating Pittsburgh last sunday night. Carolina played New Orleans tough the last time they played but I don't expect a repeat performance, Saints in a big way this week. PREDICTION---SAINTS
Dolphins (4-3) vs. Ravens (5-2) --Miami continues to win on the road (4-0) and lose at home (0-3) it's almost mind-boggling to this point. Baltimore has a great track record when coming off a bye week and I expect the same to continue, also Miami's lack of scoring touchdowns will eventually catch up to them. PREDICTION---RAVENS
Chargers (3-5) vs. Texans (4-3) --This is one of those games i was talking about being tough to pick. San Diego in my opinion is more talented than the Texans. However Houston is very tough at home and can put up points in bunches no matter where they play. This to me is a pick 'em. PREDICTION---TEXANS
Giants (5-2) vs. Seahawks (4-3) --Seattle has been one of those nice stories being able to compete in the wide open NFC West. The Giants have emerged as the favorite in the NFC East especially with the collapse of Dallas. Its been well documented how hard the trip is to take to the west coast, but the Giants are a better team. PREDICTION---GIANTS
Chiefs (5-2) vs. Raiders (4-4) --When the season started I doubt many people would have that this game would mean anything. Kansas City is in first place and the Raiders have scored 92 points in the last two weeks. Another tough game, again I feel Kansas City is better but I just like the Raiders in this matchup. PREDICTION---RAIDERS
Colts (5-2) vs. Eagles (4-3) --This could be the game of the week especially with the return of Mike Vick. Manning should have his typical game, I like the Colts here but wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles pull off the upset here. PREDICTION---COLTS
Cowboys (1-6) vs. Packers (5-3) --In case you havent noticed the Cowboys are bad, really bad. Jacksonville rolled into Dallas last week and embarrassed the Cowboys. While Green Bay pitched the first shutout of the season last week in New York. This could get uglier than the Jaguar game for the Cowboys. PREDICTION---PACKERS
Steelers (5-2) vs. Bengals (2-5) --Will the real Carson Palmer please stand up, a couple of years ago he could've been considered a top 10 QB. Now it looks like he has never played football, and you can't blame the weapons he has plenty. Pittsburgh wont have a problem making this one a laugher real early. PREDICTION---STEELERS
