Week 7 NFL Predictions

I finally had a week that was better than average.  Week 6 brought me a 9-5 record bring my season total to 52-38.  Not a great percentage if you want to bet money but not bad.  Week 7 here we come!

Bengals (2-3) vs. Falcons (4-2) --I have mentioned in previous posts that I am not a fan of Carson Palmer's play this season.  Atlanta decided not to show up in Philly last week as they were trounced 31-17.  Cincinnati has been one the years disappointments and it will continue.  PREDICTION---FALCONS

Redskins (3-3) vs. Bears (4-2) --The Bears might be the worst 4-2 team in NFL history even in their wins they have looked less than impressive.  Washington has been better this season and played the Colts tough last Sunday night.  With Donovan playing in his home town I expect a big performance from number 5.  PREDICTION---REDSKINS

Eagles (4-2) vs. Titans (4-2) --Both teams are coming off good wins in the previous week.  This might be one of the most intriguing and evenly matched teams in the NFL this week.  The slight edge for me goes to Tennessee just for being at home.  PREDICTION---TITANS

Jaguars (3-3) vs. Chiefs (3-2) --After last Monday night's game it hard to believe that Jacksonville beat the Colts a few weeks ago.  Kansas City have lost two tough road games back to back weeks, but in those losses people are starting to believe KC might have something here.  PREDICTION---CHIEFS

Steelers (4-1) vs. Dolphins (3-2) --Big Ben had a good game against Cleveland, but it is Cleveland.  Miami was able to take advantage of an injury riddled Green Bay team.  Odd stat for the Dolphins, 0-2 at home, 3-0 on the road.  That stat will continue.  PREDICTION---STEELERS

Browns (1-5) vs. Saints (4-2) --Colt McCoy was put in a unwinable situation making his first start against the Steelers.  All in all it wasnt that bad, the Browns just don't have any other weapons.  New Orleans looked like the defending champs last week, they should again Sunday.  PREDICTION---SAINTS

Rams (3-3) vs. Buccaneers (3-2) --St. Louis is definitely on the biggest surprises this season already winning 2 more games this year than last.  Tampa is starting to look like a fraud, their 2 losses have been blowouts against good teams.  However I like the home field advantage.  PREDICTION---BUCCANEERS

49ers (1-5) vs. Panthers (0-5) --San Fran finally got win number 1 and it took a game against Oakland to get it.  Carolina is well bad they have decided to sit Clausen after a couple of games.  I know traveling to the east coast is tough but did I mention Carolina is bad.  PREDICTION---49ERS

Bills (0-5) vs. Ravens (4-2) --Speaking of bad teams the Buffalo Bills head into Baltimore this week.  This looks like the classic trap game.  The Ravens wont look past Buffalo and this game could get ugly fast.  The Ravens will be 5-2 heading into their bye.  PREDICTION---RAVENS

Cardinals (3-2) vs. Seahawks (3-2) --Who would have thought that this matchup in Week 7 would be for sole possession of first place in the NFC West? not this guy.  It's embarrassing that the winner of the NFC West might be 9-7 or 8-8 but that's what it's looking like.  Seattle is a tough place to play and Arizona has a rookie QB.  PREDICTION---SEAHAWKS

Patriots (4-1) vs. Chargers (2-4) --Two teams moving in two different directions, Pats had a big win over Baltimore while the Chargers lost to another team they had no business losing to.  The Patriots are a better team but that cross-country trip is always tough.  Also Phillip Rivers already has 2,000 yards passing, it could be a long day for the Pats secondary.  PREDICTION---CHARGERS

Raiders (2-4) vs. Broncos (2-4) --Not much can be said about these 2 teams although Denver did play the Jets very tough last week.  The Raiders have had some nice moments this year, but their secondary will be tested by Kyle Orton.  PREDICTION---BRONCOS

Vikings (2-3) vs. Packers (3-3) --Both teams have failed to live up to expectations so far in 2010.  Both starts can be blamed because of injuries.  The Pack is more banged up then Minnesota but playing at home and wanting some revenge from last season I see Green Bay taking this one.  PREDICTION---PACKERS

Giants (4-2) vs. Cowboys (1-4) --The Giants are playing better than Dallas right now but I still believe Dallas is more talented.  The Cowboys need to stop shooting themselves in the foot, 3 times Dallas has had at least 11 penalties.  That has to stop for at least this game it will.  PREDICTION---COWBOYS
