Week 10 NFL Predictions
Week 10 is the first week that we have Thursday night football, which means predictions have to come earlier in the week. Another winning week for me I went 9-4 in week 9 which now brings my season total to 81-49. Enough with the chit-chat lets start predicting.
Ravens (6-2) vs. Falcons (6-2) --This game is so intriguing as it will be the first regular season game between Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan. The Ravens bounced back nicely from the bye week in dominating Miami. Atlanta is considered by many as the best team in the NFC. The Ravens can make a huge statement with a win, this reminds me of the New England game, I feel the Ravens are the better team but wont be surprised with an Atlanta win. PREDICTION---RAVENS
Lions (2-6) vs. Bills (0-8) --So last week I took a chance in taking Buffalo to win, and let me just say there is a reason they are 0-8. If Matt Stafford doesn't get hurt against the Jets, the Lions probably win that game. The same applies here is Stafford plays the whole game the Lions win, if not the Bills have a chance. PREDICTION---LIONS
Vikings (3-5) vs. Bears (5-3) --I still can't understand how the Bears still have a winning record, nothing about them impress me at all. Minnesota seems like a team about to implode, even after the win they sounded like they had lost by 20 points. Neither team is going anywhere in my opinion but I have to pick someone, so why not Minnesota. PREDICTION---VIKINGS
Jets (6-2) vs. Browns (3-5) --The Jets have looked like a totally different team since their bye and not in a good way. They got shut out by Green Bay at home and needed overtime to beat the Lions. The Browns are however looking better with impressive back to back wins. The matchup of Peyton Hillis and the Jets defense will be fun to watch. New York is a better team, but the Browns will compete. PREDICTION---JETS
Bengals (2-6) vs. Colts (5-3) --The Bengals have gone back to being called the Bungles after falling short against Pittsburgh. Chad Ochocinco not Owens threw a temper tantrum in the loss and it seems like they are falling apart. Indianapolis had a tough defeat to the Eagles. The Colts are way better and this shouldnt be a tough game for them. PREDICTION---COLTS
Titans (5-3) vs. Dolphins (4-4) --Miami finally lost its first road game last week to Baltimore and it doesn't get any easier coming home. Even after Randy Moss goes to another team he continues to haunt his old AFC east opponents. The addition of Moss comes at the perfect time especially with Kenny Britt going down. Tennessee can stake claim as a team to beat with a win here. PREDICTION---TITANS
Panthers (1-7) vs. Buccaneers (5-3) --Tampa hung tough with Atlanta last week and are still in the hunt for the playoffs. Carolina on the other hand is bad, really bad. This game could get ugly early and often. PREDICTION---BUCCANEERS
Texans (4-4) vs. Jaguars (4-4) --I am officially off the Texans bandwagon, at the beginning of the season I predicted Houston to go to the playoffs, yea not gonna happen. They had a chance to maybe eliminate San Diego at home and couldn't get the job done. Jacksonville is an odd team to me you just don't know what you're going to get from them. That being said I like the Jags. PREDICTION---JAGUARS
Chiefs (5-3) vs. Broncos (2-6) --Kansas City still leads the AFC west but for how long as San Diego looks poised to make its regular late season charge. Denver's season is going nowhere fast and Josh McDaniels may be on the hot seat, even after their bye I like KC. PREDICTION---CHIEFS
Cowboys (1-7) vs. Giants (6-2) --Dallas is in total disarray, and that's putting it nicely. While in New York, the Giants may be separating themselves from the rest of the NFC. Like the last couple games for Dallas this game can get real ugly real fast. PREDICTION---GIANTS
Seahawks (4-4) vs. Cardinals (3-5) --In this weeks mediocre bowl Seattle travels down to Arizona. Both teams have their issues both teams have their strengths. And because their division is so weak both teams have a chance to maybe steal this division. Cardinals are home so ill take them. PREDICTION---CARDINALS
Rams (4-4) vs. 49ers (2-6) --San Fran had to travel to London to get win number two, and they might have found a QB. Smith didn't have a great game but it was good enough to get the win. Sam Bradford is proving a lot of people wrong with his play but I don't think it will be enough this week. PREDICTION---49ERS
Patriots (6-2) vs. Steelers (6-2) --The second matchup of 6-2 teams happens in Pittsburgh. New England got smashed by Peyton Hillis and the Browns while the Steelers survived Cincinnati. The Pat will definitely look to rebound but it will be hard going to Pittsburgh. PREDICTION---STEELERS
Eagles (5-3) vs. Redskins (4-4) --Its been a long two weeks in Washington after the benching of Donovan McNabb. The Eagles look like a totally different team when Vick is the QB. If he stays healthy the Eagles can go pretty far. It will be interesting if Redskins have another 2 minute drill what Shanahan will do. PREDICTION---EAGLES
