WEATHER BLOG: Thawing Out

Some precipitation broke out to the north and west Friday morning. Some of it did not reach the ground, but there were reports of sleet making roads slippery in parts of south central and southeast Pennsylvania.

It is a dry forecast for the afternoon. The models are quite inconclusive on the system for Sunday night into Monday, but if it tracks as far north as the European is predicting, the rain-snow line could be right across your area so a rain to snow mix is possible.

For Tuesday night and Wednesday we can make precipitation definite with the only question being the type at the onset. Stay tuned.
