BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- 93, yes 93 today tied a record last set back in 1896! Our normal is is only 74!
Tomorrow will be a repeat of today's heat and humidity as well, with a slight chance of a widely scattered shower or thunderstorm by evening.
On Friday a front will cross the region, and bring a better chance of showers and a thunderstorm, followed by a big cool-down over the weekend.
For the Preakness, we expect a high of around 69 with partly cloudy skies! Next chance of showers is likely on Monday.
Stay cool and remember an air quality alert is also in effect tomorrow.
