WEATHER BLOG: Gradual Warmup Ahead

Sunshine greeted us this morning, it was a pleasant change of pace! Just enough dry air moved over the region to clear things out from the clouds and rain of yesterday. The big storm still spinning east of the Maine coast is weakening, but is still providing a breeze and cooler temperatures in its wake. As we move into Thursday, the winds will gradually calm down,and a bit cooler air will also have moved in. Our normal high now is about 47, we expect a high of around 40 tomorrow. Some more sun will be around towards the end of the week and the weekend, along with a slow warmup! By Sunday we may get close to almost 50 degrees again. Not bad for December.
