WEATHER BLOG: Cloudy End To The Weekend

The forecast for the rest of the weekend is not ideal, though we are definitely not looking at a washout. Our main problem is a relatively humid air-mass in place thanks to southeast flow allowing Atlantic moisture to penetrate inland. Thus, we will see clouds dominate the sky tonight and to end the weekend tomorrow. Sure, there will be a few breaks of sunshine from time to time, but the overall consensus will be mostly cloudy.

This humid weather pattern will continue next week as another system pushes eastward. We will be trending much warmer as winds become more southwesterly by the start of the workweek. We expect the chance for showers and even some rumbles of thunder around as the atmosphere becomes warmer and therefore, a bit more unstable. #mdwx
