WEATHER BLOG: Beautiful Week
Dry, quiet and seasonably cool weather is the rule across the area Monday morning with high pressure in control of much of the eastern third of the nation. High pressure will hold its ground later Monday. This along with a dry air mass in place will allow for plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures -- a beautiful late October day shaping up! After a nice evening, skies will be no worse than clear to partly cloudy Monday night with temperatures several degrees milder than the morning.
A frontal boundary will be setting up to our north Tuesday and as some shortwave energy rounds the top of the ridge it will produce some clouds and precipitation across portions of northern Pennsylvania and New York state. However, this boundary and shortwave should remain far enough to our north to not directly impact our area aside from a few clouds.
It will remain warm on Wednesday as this boundary lifts farther to the north. In fact, most locations will top off near the 80 degree mark in the afternoon.
