WEATHER BLOG: Another Gorgeous August Day
With high pressure in place, the region will remain dry this afternoon. The most likely area for any showers or t-storms to develop will be from DC on south, and even then they will be hit or miss. The next system moves into the area late in the day tomorrow as it continues to press east. Timing should be such that if anything gets to the city during the day, it will be very late. The wettest time period in the short-term forecast will be Wednesday night into Thursday.
