WEATHER BLOG: A Comfortable Sunday
A comfortable afternoon and evening is underway across the region. However, an upper-level low centered over Nova Scotia continues to influence instability even with high pressure in place at the surface. This is showing up on visibile satellite with some pop-up cumulus clouds. High-resolution modeling indicates that the thickest clouds should stay off to our north and east. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies through tonight with a chilly night in the lower 40s. The aformentioned upper-level low makes its closest approach tomorrow with the center edging a bit southward through the afternoon. ahowers will arrive around midday just ahead of the trough asis, ending around sunset with the shortwave departing to the east. Temps will only be a few degrees below normal.
