Want To Own A Piece Of M&T Bank Stadium?

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Ravens fans will soon be able to own a piece of M&T Bank Stadium.

On Thursday, crews ripped up the turf as they transition to natural grass for the 2016 season.

"I've been asking the Ravens for several years can we put in real grass back in here, and the players came to us and asked if they could put in real grass, and they talked  to Mr. Biscotti and here we are, putting in real grass," said Don Follett, Director of Grounds for the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens organization says once all of the turf is removed fans will be able to purchase a special piece of history.

The turf for sale will come from between the 20-yard line, officials say.

All proceeds benefit the Ravens Foundation.
