Updates from the O's infirmary
Once again there was quite a bit of information from Camden Yards today ...
- First, it looks like Chris Tillman will be the starter called up on Saturday to pitch in Toronto. Unofficially, Dave Trembley strongly hinted Tillman will arrive in Baltimore tomorrow to play catch and fly with the team to Toronto after Thursday's game against the A's. A roster move will be made and it most likely will be somebody from the bullpen.
- Koji Uehara, Alfredo Simon and Brian Roberts, who fielded soft grounders before the start of the game, will head to Sarasota at the end of the week to begin their rehab programs. Brian Roberts is not expected to come off the DL on June 6th -- it looks as if the middle of the month is more of a realistic target.
- Mike Gonzalez had a slight setback. Although he is pain-free, his arm strength is not where it needs to be. He will NOT play in any extended spring games. Instead, he will start a long-toss program and work on his arm strength.
- Luke Scott was once again out of Wed night's lineup. He did not take batting practice.... he hit off a tee. He could be available Thursday night according to Trembley.
