University System Of Maryland's Board Of Regents Approve Tuition Increase For The Upcoming School Year
BALTIMORE (WJZ) - The University System of Maryland's Board of Regents approved a tuition increase for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic school year.
The increase is about 2 percent for in-state students and 5 percent for out-of-state students. This comes following a tuition freeze last year due to the pandemic.
USM says without these increases, the system would be forced to reduce faculty and staff, cut scholarships, financial aid and a few academic programs.
