The forgotten season ...

The Orioles are already in the tank ... the NFL draft is just 2 days away ... the Capitals have drawn national attention ... but did anyone notice that the NBA playoffs have started??  Now I know Baltimore doesn't have an NBA team and the Wizards are a mess ... and true the regular season of the NBA is just flat out boring ... but the playoffs are a whole different story.

Already they have started to live up to the billing.  If LeBron James' chase of a championship isn't enough, check out Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder try and topple Kobe and the Lakers.  Look at the scrappy Miami Heat claw it out with the veteran-savvy Boston Celtics.  Out west, even Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets are going blow for blow with the Utah Jazz.

Like I said, I know the NBA isn't a fan favorite, but if you are a fan of competition, sports and exciting closing minutes of basketball games, be sure to turn your TV on!  And if you miss it, trust me, you can find another game because the NBA drags their playoffs out until the middle of June!
