Thousands will gather in Baltimore over the Labor Day weekend to witness the second Grand Prix of Baltimore. This IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series race will delight racing fans of all ages. The city will be alive with the roar of engines, the cheers of the fans and the delightful smells of delicious food vendors. Get your tickets and hotel rooms early before they are sold out.All eyes of the racing world will be on Baltimore as the 2nd Annual Grand Prix of Baltimore comes to town Aug. 31.
Champion drivers, including Dario Franchitti, winner of the 2011 Baltimore Grand Prix, will be on hand to vie for the trophy once again. Experienced as well as rookie drivers will challenge the on-street course as the roar of turbo-charged engines excite the audience.The streets of Baltimore's Inner Harbor will welcome the IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series race cars as they prepare for the second Grand Prix of Baltimore. Visitors from across the country and around the world will meet in Baltimore to enjoy the race, the Inner Harbor and special events as Baltimore also celebrates the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. The American LeMans Series Race

This race will feature race cars, from elaborate, exotic prototypes to standard GTs in a race that lasts just around two or three hours on the Baltimore Street Circuit.
IZOD IndyCar Series Race
Date: Sept. 2
The IZOD IndyCar race will feature brand new 2012 designs from Honda, Chevrolet and Lotus. The 75-lap IndyCar race will feature last year's winner as well as four-time champion Dario Franchetti.
