Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery of Rockville Dollar Tree

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are calling for the public's help to identify the suspect behind an armed robbery at a Rockville Dollar Tree that was caught on video.

In surveillance video released by investigators Tuesday, the suspect, whose face is obscured by a hat, can be seen leading a bound employee at gunpoint into the store's office where he uses her keys to open the safe and empty its contents into a bag.

The robbery unfolded at the business, located in on East Jefferson Street, about 9 p.m. on July 5 when the employee opened the door to a restroom and came face to face with the suspect, who was armed with a handgun, according to Montgomery County Police. He then restrained her wrists and used her keys to rob the place before taking off.
