Steve Davis: Reality Check
I don't know if it is panic time for the Orioles, but we are in the midst of a harsh reality check.
This team does not have the wiggle room, either in depth or skill level to withstand injuries, poor pitching and poor fundamentals. They are better, but not as good as they teased us to believe. I am a big believer in track records over leaps of faith.
The Orioles just do not have enough guys with proven track records to believe their early season success can be maintained over 6 months. It might be coming, but not yet.
