Woman, 63, Slain In Home Invasion

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- State police say a 63-year-old Salisbury woman was slain in a home invasion.

Police found the body of 63-year-old Barbara Greene early Saturday morning.

Police say someone broke into her home through a rear door. Greene's body was found on a bathroom floor. Police say the cause of death is unknown at this point.

Greene lived with her brother, Reginald Greene, who told police he got home from work shortly after midnight and saw the rear door ajar and bloodstains in the hallway. He went to a neighbor's house and called 911. Police then responded and found Barbara Greene's body, which was taken to the medical examiner's office for an
autopsy.

Police haven't established a motive for the slaying.
