Sleeping in the Boys Room

The Seattle Mariners are in town tonight to face the Orioles tonight.  That means Ken Griffey jr will be making another trip to Baltimore.  This will probably be his last though.  Last week according to two teammates, Griffey fell asleep in the clubhouse.  This is a first ballot hall of famer, but he's also a 40yr old guy who's batting .208 and just hanging on to a job.  Unlike the Orioles, the Mariners came in to the season with huge expectations.  They added Cliff Lee and Chone Figgins to the club, and most baseball experts picked them to win the AL West.  Reality has set in though as a month into the season, Ty Wigginton has as many homers as the Mariners.  Things are definitely a struggle, but thats no excuse to sleep on the job.
