Simon on his way to Balto
Apparently closer Alfredo Simon is on his way back to Baltimore to rejoin the team. On Friday, manager Juan Samuel said he and pitching coach Rick Kranitz wanted to take a closer look at him ... so that's what they're going to do. Simon could come of the DL (left hammy) as early as Monday.
The O's current closers David Hernandez will stay in the bullpen. What will happen to Brad Bergesen now that Jake Arrieta is up with the big league club?
