The Mayor Of The Town Where Ben Roethlisberger Allegedly Raped A Woman Hopes That Tourism Will Increase Now. 

This is PURE INSANITY . . .take a second look at this:

The mayor of Milledgeville, Georgia . . . the town where Steelers quarterback BEN ROETHLISBERGER allegedly raped a woman . . . hopes that the incident will INCREASE TOURISM.  

Mayor Richard Bentley told TMZ, quote, "Anything that can draw interest to our town and make people want to visit, we would like."

And while he acknowledged that the circumstances of Milledgeville's newfound fame were unfortunate, he added, quote, "If it peaks people's interest about our city, we would certainly welcome them here."

Seriously?  Rape tourism? 

I though Maryland waas bad, but between "Deliverance" and this incident, no state has  has made as much cash off of rape as entertainment.
