School Custodian Charged In Child Porn Distribution

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- A 27-year-old Owings Mills man was arrested and charged for distributing child pornography.

Baltimore County police conduction an Internet search for people sharing child pornography on June 22 and identified a suspect sharing photos.

They determined the suspect was located in a home in unit block of Baroness Court.

Detectives served a search warrant on the home on July 7 and found several computers and electronic devices were recovered and contained child pornography.

Ji Yeab Kang was identified as the suspect by police and was taken into custody.

Kang was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography and has been released after posting $100,000 bail.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Kang is a custodian at Marriotts Ridge High School in Howard County.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crimes Against Children Unit.
