Rick Dempsey

Rick Dempsey joined the Ed Norris show in studio during the final hour of the show today.  Unless you've been under a rock you know that Dempsey would be the next manager of the Baltimore Orioles.  At first I wasn't on board with this, but the more I've thought about it the more I'm down with having a guy in charge that wants the job.  For all those people who wanted a name for names sake.  The Tampa Bay Rays hired Lou Pinella as their manager a few years back.  He's an accomplished major league manager who stunk up the joint in Tampa.  The Rays next manager was a career asst coach who worked under Mike Scoscia with the Angels.  His name is Joe Maddon and he took the Rays to the World Series.
