Really O's Fans???

If you had 7am on the morning after the first game as the first time someone would criticise Dave Trembley's managing for a ridiculous reason, go see Sheila at the front desk because you've wona prize.  This morning on the Ed Norris show, a caller actually said Trembley was a bad manager because he stuck with his closer, Mike Gonzalez, even though Gonzalez had gotten himself into a jam.  Trembley stuck with Gonzalez because he put his bullpen together this offseason with the idea that he would be the ninth inning guy.  Granted, Gonzalez is not going to be great every night, but COME ON  (copyright E. T. Norris 2010) people!!  Trembley needs to see this guy try to work out of jams.  He needs to see how he reacts the day after a blown safe.  He needs to see if Gonzalez is healthy after having a bad back this spring.  This was game one of 162, not exactly the 7th game of the World Series.  You don't scrap your season plan after 20 pitches.  Trembley hasn't shown himself to be the second coming of Earl Weaver just yet, but some of you need to calm down just a little.
