Ravens WR Rashod Bateman arrested on family violence charges in Georgia

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is facing multiple charges, including family violence, following a June incident in Georgia.

According to official booking documents from the Walton County Sheriff's Office, Bateman was booked on June 3 on misdemeanor charges of reckless conduct, battery, and criminal property damage.

The Ravens issued a statement to WJZ acknowledging the situation.

"We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him. We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process," Chad Steele, Sr., Vice President of Communications, Ravens, said. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment."
