QB CONTROVERSY...REALLY?

Folks...do my eyes and ears deceive, or are there some people actually suggesting that anyone but Joe Flacco shoukd be the Ravens starting quarterback?

What else does he need to show you? As a rookie he took the Ravens to the AFC Championship game, in the process, becoming the first rookie to win two playopff games. Last year, he had them right back in the playoffs as well.

I know there's a small group of hardcore Troy Smith fans, and I also know Marc Bulger got everyone fired up by his performance against the Redskins, but c'mon..he was playing against backups.

We waited a long LONG time for a legitimate QB here in Baltimore.

Now we have one....so just let him play....he'll be fine.

It just proves tthe old NFL adage: the most popular guy in town is always the backup quarterback.
